ICONICS GENESIS (version 11, the successor to GENESIS64) uses five license tiers, from a tag-limited Pure tier to unlimited-tag Plus through Platinum tiers, and runs on Windows with IIS and SQL Server.

Consider Ignition when…
- You need Linux or macOS servers, or want to avoid a Windows/IIS/SQL Server dependency.
- You want to price the project yourself from a public list before talking to sales.
Consider ICONICS GENESIS (GENESIS64) when…
- You run Mitsubishi Electric equipment: GENESIS counts Mitsubishi Electric FA tags separately and integrates natively.
- You need BACnet, SNMP and Azure IoT Hub connectivity in the same Windows-based package.
